Position Overview

This is a new and exciting role for an ambitious and self-motivated NAV Systems Administrator to join us in the early adoption phase of our NAV system. You will be reporting to the MD and Senior Managers and be the main point of contact for all enquires related to our NAV system. You will have meticulous attention to detail, thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in making a difference. Your responsibilities as a NAV Systems Administrator will include, but aren’t limited to:

  • Configure Microsoft Dynamics NAV software to meet business requirements
  • Configure Jet Reports and write Jet Report documents
  • Collaborate on any updates to the system
  • Understand the functionality of the system and how it can assist business growth and initiate these functions
  • Provide user training and support and communicate new features and enhancement in NAV to appropriate management and employees
  • Collaborate with third party developers to provide technical direction to ensure functionality of current system and debugging and deployment of new functionalities and features in NAV.
  • Collaborate with MD, Senior Managers, Finance, Operations, Warehouse and Web Developers to achieve optimum functionality of system to suit business requirements
  • Troubleshoot and coordinate with third party consultants as needed to resolve issues and ensure the timely and effective delivery of planned solutions.
  • Develop on-going reports needed by the business to improve information and decision making
  • Demonstrate initiative and knowledge by suggesting ideas, discovering new and better ways of accomplishing goas and find innovative, well thought-out solutions to problems
  • Generate an accountable, innovative and results-orientated culture; promoting openness, ownership, knowledge, teamwork, mutual trust and respect

What you'll need to show us

  • Microsoft Dynamics NAV experience
  • Recent experience of implementing and supporting Dynamics NAV
  • Experience of Dynamics CRM would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of business process analysis
  • Strong administration, organisation and time management
  • Accurate with exceptional attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with a common-sense approach and the ability to use own initiative
  • Dynamic – ready to speak up and initiate action
  • Assertive and willingness to take on responsibility
  • Ability to problem solve
